As first-time home buyers, being able to work with someone who actually knows what they are doing was relieving. Everyone goes through that same roller coaster of emotions but she made it so smooth for us. Kirsten helped us look beyond the cosmetics of the house but opened our eyes to potentially expensive fixings, all the way to check if all the blinds work. No question is too dumb! She was able to answer all of our questions (whether she knew the answer or if she had to reach out to the seller). Communication was key in this whole process. There was a house on the market that we were very interested in, but Kirsten listed items that would have to be fixed which would have gone pretty far past our budget and would have not left a lot of room for negotiations. Her advice was to wait it out to see if they lower the price. The more homes we saw, the more we realized she was right, that she was right home was way over price. Not only does Kristen send potential homes that may suit us, but she was very open-minded and worked with us to find our perfect home. If we saw a home pop up on the market all we had to do was let Kirsten know and she was able to set up a viewing. For a couple of homes, Kirsten was not able to view homes with us but organized for someone else to check out those homes. Overall, we would highly recommend Kristen. She is so professional, has honest opinions, and communicates very well. She helped us decipher what our needs vs. wants were. She helped us understand that we were not looking for our "forever home". Instead, we needed a home that we could grow into."

On these trips, we quickly formed a rapport as she is simply a delightful personality to be around, Prior to the offer, she gave her candid thoughts on what might be some considerations on pricing, home features, and general market vibe. Post-offer though is where Kirsten truly shines. I was buying from a remote location and Kirsten had been an invaluable partner in helping me get settled and starting to appreciate the uniqueness of the region. When I was called away on business just prior to closing, she stepped right in and dealt with handyman issues, helped navigate the various service people who had to gain access to the home, and overall put me at ease. There was a particularly scary moment the day before closing with my lender needing some cumbersome additional documentation, but Kirsten stayed calm and cool. She has continued to be available and very helpful in my ongoing settlement to the area, helping me get acclimated, including driving me 90 90-minute round trip to a neighboring city so I could run a personal errand.
