Kirsten has called Northern Nevada home for most of her life. She grew up in Carson City, the capital of Nevada, and spent summers and holidays at a second home in South Lake Tahoe. She raised her children in Reno and Sparks. Now that both her son and daughter are grown, she divides her time between her home in Reno and her home in Kings Beach at Lake Tahoe. She has a deep understanding of the Lake Tahoe basin, shaped by years spent at her family's homes in Zephyr Cove, Incline Village and Carnelian Bay. Away from work, her family is always a priority. She enjoys spending time with them, loves being on the lake or at the beach, golfing, snowshoeing and is currently writing her first book.
